Cyrine Abdelnour


Cyrine Abdelnour (also known as Cyreen Abdul Noor; born February 21, 1977) is a Lebanese singer, actress, and was top model of the world in 2003 and a celebrity in the Arab part of the Middle East. Her father is Lebanese and her mother is Syrian.[1][2] She entered the music scene with her album, Leila Min Layali which was released in 2004. The album was a hit in the Middle East.

Cyrine's second album, Aleik Ayouni, met with sucess in the Charts. Its debut single, Law Bass Fi Ayni became one of the most popular songs of 2006, followed by a second single, Aleik Ayouni. Cyrine is known for her vocal talents. She has gone on numerous of tours around the world and has attended many prestigious film premieres as well. She has also starred in TV serials and films in the Arab world from the late 1990s. In 2007 she married Lebanese business man Farid Rahme in a Orthodox Ceremony however outside rather than in a church the event was well covered by Cyrine's Label Rotana and was attended by many celebrities from the Arab world


Early life

Abdel Nour was born in Abeyidiye, Beirut February 21, 1977, to a Lebanese father and a Syrian mother in an Orthodox Christian household. She has one older sister and two brothers. She was educated in Saints-Couers school in Lebanon where she took a course in Fashion Design. In 1992 she started her modeling career and modeled for the following fashion designers and Feliciana Rossi, Zuhair Murad, Abed ahfouz, Renato Balestra, Mireille Dagher, Thierry Mugler. In 1998 she had her first roles on LBC (Lebanese Broadcasting Corporation) with Smaa Kchaa (1998) and Sahat Sahteen (1999) being her first roles to note. [3]
